Deep Blue Robotics, established in August 2015 as part of the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) Team 199, empowers Carlmont students to engage firsthand with essential STEM skills through competitive and entrepreneurial activities. As a member of FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science & Technology), the team annually competes in varied contests designed for different educational levels. The mission of Deep Blue Robotics is to facilitate comprehensive STEM education by enhancing engineering, project management, and community interaction skills, aiming to cultivate professionalism and leverage the extensive opportunities offered by FIRST. The team comprises dedicated students, invaluable mentors, and supportive parents, all working collectively to expand their community engagement.
